Companionship

The latest research tells us that one of the most important factors in staying healthy is social interaction, particularly for seniors who choose to live in their homes. This same research shows that's exactly where nine out of ten older adults today want to live.

Fogelman Jewish Family Service offers a couple of ways for seniors to stay engaged with others, providing enriching social interactions on a regular basis.

Friendly Visitors- Volunteers visit seniors at home periodically to offer companionship. FJFS at MJCC- 901-767-8511.

J Cafe- Regular phone calls to seniors at home to provide companionship and support. FJFS at MJCC- 901-767-8511.
